Lori Passineau is a vocalist/songwriter/performer who works with a variety of pro musicians writing, recording, and performing original and covered material. She is accomplished in blues, jazz, funk and rock, able to excite an audience with her sultry/torchy to rockin' shows.

Nothing gives Lori more pleasure than to take the stage and rock! Her gutsy and compelling style has been compared to many but, in fact, is unique. Her desire to create and record quality music — ass shakin, gyratin, heart & soul grabbing, feel good music — will leave you wanting more.

Recently relocated to Phoenix, AZ, Lori has been in the studio recording with her new band, "ReGroove." Just released is their new classic covers CD "ReGroove - Live In Phoenix," with another CD of original music written by Lori Passineau, Joyce Guyett, and Sparky Robinson to be released sometime later this year.

Lori is also performing with her band "Lori Passineau's ReGroove" on the local music scene — check the calendar for upcoming performances.

EarBuzz Review — "All The Way"
"Lori Passineau sings from a heart full of experiences, both good and not so good. Her entertainingly soulful and bluesy style would have been welcomed in any old school gin joint or night club. "All The Way" showcases those talents. The listener can picture her subtly flirting with the piano player, glancing at the on-lookers sitting at their two-tops with candles lit and drinks half empty.

'Broken' rocks with early Bonnie Raitt abandon. It's refreshing to hear the power in a woman exclaiming: "You begged me not to leave you now, but it's too late to make it right." She takes on the typical male role here – breaking hearts and moving on. We get a hint of Stevie Ray Vaughn in the slick guitar playing on 'In the Rain'. Passineau projects star-like quality in this cut. Her vocal prowess conjuring images of Janis Joplin, and though her voice differs sonically from Joplin's, the power and hunger is there. Things get a drummy make-over on 'Wings of a Dove'. This track allows the artist to get her pop groove on, while retaining that soulful touch – a Gladys Knight kinda flavor. Passineau is a pro, give her record a spin."—MM
