California. At an early age, John was introduced to the arts, and
having a musical family, he soon discovered his own love for music.
When entering college he became a piano major, using his poetry

Charles
Baratta
Charles Baratta, born and raised in Queens, NY,
has been drumming since the Beatles, and is a product of
the "drummer shares the spotlight" era. He was playing
the clubs while still in high school. Charles played
with many of Long Island top players, including
members of the legendary Good Rats, and he was a
fixture on the Long Island club scene with the bands
Gallery and Llama, a band briefly signed to the Arista
Passport record label before the label folded. |
Charles moved to Florida in the mid 1980's, and immediately teamed up with Pat
Travers' bass player, Chase Chitty, and Carlton Moralez of the
Julian Lennon Band, The Gap Band, and David Bowie, in a band
called Frenzie that toured the south as a Jimmy Hendrix tribute
band.
Relocating to California in 1993, Charles reunited
with Gallery front man Richard Ward in a band with Nick St. Nick
of Steppenwolf, called Lone Wolf. Charles has been with area
favorites The
Road Dogs, for years, and with band mate Johnny Sanchez,
he briefly played with signed artist Pat Rettig. He did 2 tours
in Mexico with nationally known rock and roll band Under the
Wheel, featuring world known flamenco guitarist Dino Durand,
a recording artist with Sting. It is a pleasure to have this
talented and accomplished drummer joining her South Asia tour.
