Raised in a small town in upstate New York, music and performance has always been an important part of Lori's life. Even in her early days of school productions, music, and theater, she knew that she had found the very thing that touched her heart and soul. The thrill of music and performance deepened with her concert tour of Europe, involvement with a variety of folk, rock, blues, and acappella harmony groups, and appearances in various stage productions. Lori has had many years of intense vocal/performance training, participated in competitions and won awards.

After writing poetry for several years, which evolved into song lyrics, she experienced the process and joy of creating music. Inspired by many of the legendary greats including Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Billy Joel, Bette Midler, Bonnie Rait, Etta James, Tina Turner, Jim Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Steven Tyler, and Mick Jaggar, to mention just a few.
